The New Year Ritual That Sets the Tone for Energy and Glow ✨
January calls for rituals that actually make you feel amazing—and Pique’s Sun Goddess Matcha is mine. It delivers clean, focused energy with zero jitters, supports glowing skin and gentle detox, and feels deeply grounding. Smooth, ceremonial-grade, and crave-worthy, it’s the easiest way to start your day clear, energized, and glowing from the inside out.

Time ran out for Time Out Market. The Fenway neighborhood food hall will be closing its doors on January 23. The CEO cites “inconsistent footfall” and increased operating costs preventing “consistent profitability” as the reasons behind the decision. (CBS News)
Things are looking up. Boston Magazine published its list of the most anticipated Boston restaurants of 2026, with at least 17 already generating buzz. Highlights include Daily Provisions in Seaport, next to Ci Siamo, a homey, “approachable” Italian eatery from Danny Meyer and Union Hospitality Group. Plus, C’Yool, a Yemeni coffee shop and bakery coming to the South End; Doune & Pepe, “Caribbean fusion from Haitian food experts” in Dorchester; and Eastern Edge, a new food hall coming to Kendall Square with globe-trotting vibes.
RIP, Dugout Cafe. After almost 100 years, the Dugout Cafe has permanently closed its doors. This follows the news that the bar’s liquor license was sold to the upcoming Seaport District location of Earl’s Kitchen and Bar, per Universal Hub. (Boston Restaurant Talk)

Goodbye, Weeping Willow. One of Boston Public Garden’s iconic willows will be coming down this spring after more than 50 years of standing sentry over the swan pond. The windiest city. Boston had more than 100 days with winds topping 30 mph in 2025, thanks to a warmer-than-usual year in the Gulf of Maine and a robust storm season. (The Boston Globe)
What I’m reading this week:
UnWorld by Jayson Greene. Sometime in the near future, the lines between human and AI are blurred as Anna and Rick struggle in the wake of their teenage son’s alleged suicide.
Lay Your Body Down by Amy Suiter Clarke. Del is forced to face past religious trauma head-on after an old friend — a former elder in her hometown’s church — is killed during a hunting trip.
